It occurred to me last night that smoothies and daiquiris are quite similar.
Fruity and frozen, after all.
Does spiking your smoothie sound perfectly natural to you, too?
It just takes one extra ingredient. *wink*
I used rum.
Here's my recipe:
SMOOTHIES AFTER DARK
Ingredients:
1 banana1 cup of orange juice
1 container of fruity yogurt (I used blueberry)
2 1/2 cups of frozen berries (I used strawberries and blueberries)
1 can of Mandarin oranges, drained
1 shot of rum per serving
Directions:
Use a blender to whir everything except the rum until smooth.Pour into pretty glasses to serve.
Add a shot of rum for whoever wishes one and stir.
You can always omit the rum and enjoy a Virgin Smoothie After Dark.
